Welcome to Hackham East Primary School! We are delighted to have you as part of our community. Nestled in the Southern Suburbs, just 30 kilometres from Adelaide’s CBD, our school is home to 225 wonderful students from Reception to Year 6.

At Hackham East, we believe in fostering a respectful, inclusive, and learning-focused environment. Our high expectations extend to everyone—students, staff, and families—ensuring a nurturing and welcoming atmosphere. Our dedicated staff are committed to supporting the educational, social, and emotional growth of each child, helping them reach their full potential.

We embrace a behaviour education approach, encouraging children to do the right thing simply because it is right. Our Golden Rule, “treat others as you would like to be treated,” is at the heart of our community. Through engaging activities like Play is the Way games, we help students embody our values of Friendliness, Good Manners, Courage, Tolerance, Persistence/Resilience, and Compassion.
